REBECCA HACKL - Lead Director
For over fifteen years Rebecca has been envisioning and executing flawless events. Known for her extreme patience, calming nature, and close friendship with all of her clients, she will go the distance to provide out of this world service. Rebecca leads the team with a fresh approach and provides pioneering ideas that are unique to the event industry. As the principal, she manages each and every detail from start to finish with an eye for perfection.
TheKnot.com - the nation’s #1 online wedding resource and leading wedding magazine - recently recognized Rebecca as one of the best event planners in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, as voted by real brides (The Knot Magazine, The Best of Weddings 2007, 2010).
In her spare time, Rebecca gives her time to charitable organizations and currently acts as the Logistics Chair for The Annual Starlight Gala, hosted by The American Cancer Society, and recently produced the All-Star Benefit Event for the SEEDS Foundation (www.seedproject.org). She is also an active member of The National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) as a member of their Programs Committee, The National Association of Professional Woman (NAPW), and America's Green Business Network.
LAURA VANDAGRIFF BIGGINS - Director of Graphic Design and Special Events Coordinator
Laura Vandagriff Biggins was born and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa she began her professional career in the fashion industry by working in the apparel design division for Jlo by Jennifer Lopez. After living in NYC for a little over 5 years Biggins moved down to Dallas with her now husband where she worked as a Women’s Apparel Designer for Fossil, Inc. She got her start in the event planning industry after working with Rebecca Hackl Events on her own wedding. She quickly fell in love with the process and joined the team after realizing how much designing apparel translated into elements of event design. In addition to her seat as Director of Graphic Design and Special Events Coordinator at Rebecca Hackl Events, Laura launched By Invitation Only in 2009, a platinum stationary and graphic design company.
KIRSTEN BERRY - Special Events Coordinator
Kirsten Berry was born and raised in Lewisville, TX and is a Honor Graduate from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Restaurant, Hotel, Institutional Management. After working in the Texas Tech University Skyviews Restaurant and the upscale hotel industry for 4 years she decided to try something new and get her feet wet in the Event Planning Industry. After completing a summer internship at Rebecca Hackl Events, Kirsten became a permanent employee and now holds the position as Special Events Coordinator.
